New Zealand Labor Party Wants More Rights For LGBT

The labor party of New Zealand supports adoption by gay and lesbian couples and wants to fight against bullying at school and to work on property laws.

Concerning the adoption, Prime Minister John Key however specified that it is not a priority, the party’s 'rainbow' policy document says it will modernise the law "to ensure the widest pool of suitable adults is lawfully available to provide care to children in need."
