About ten young women were arrested in Cameroon accused to be lesbian. Three of them will be judged the next week.
It would seem that the arrest would follow an argument between two women who are in a relationship, one would have cheated the other on with a married woman and her husband would have called the police as reports Le Journal Du Cameroun.
The lawsuit is planned on March 8th, yes, the international women's day, and it is the first time that a case of lesbianism will be judged.
Cameroon still regards homosexuality as criminal, the three women could be sentenced of 5 years of prison. The married woman will have to probably divorce and she will lose the right to see her children.
