In Ireland, a study shows that almost all the population supports marriage equality.
This study carried out by an Irish organization shows a change concerning LGBT rights. Indeed, in 2008, another study had shown that 56% of Irish were favorable to gay marriage, what was already a good score. This year, this new study reveals that 73% of Irish are from now on support it!
"The study confirms the open-minded of the Irish people and that it accepts the critical changes necessary to have equality of gays and lesbians," Kieran Rose, responsible of GLEN.
"The goal of GLEN is to obtain the civil marriage, which is the only option which will make it possible to reach the equality of statute with the opposite-sex couples," he added.
