New Russian Area Passed "Gay Propaganda" Law

Whereas currently St Petersburg still did not vote the "gay propaganda" law, a new area of Russia has just passed the legislature.

The Parliament of Kostroma, area in the North-East of Moscow, voted the prohibition of all "gay, bisexual and transsexualism propaganda" to "protect minors".

"The introduction of these legislatures will defend the moral principles protecting the family and will preserve youth's physical and spiritual health", said Svetlana Ivanova, a person in charge of the regional administration.

Of course, the term "gay propaganda" is clearly large and could ban everything which is gay as Gay Prides which are already often prohibited in Russia.
