North Wales Police decided to place rainbow stickers on the front desks of its stations in an attempt to make gays and lesbians to be entrusted in particular when they are vistimes of crimes.
PC Manus Sheridan, of the force’s Gay Police Association, said: "It is essential that all members of the community feel confident enough to enter our stations to report any incident, whatever background they are from."
Arthur Roberts, a of the local pressure group People for Proper Policing, considers on the other hand that it is a "waste of taxpayers’ money".
