The British association Stonewall has launched a survey to find out what the songs of the past ten years that have given the most courage and strength to the LGBT community.

Here are the top 5 of those songs.

Number 1 - Christina Aguilera "Beautiful"

This song wins 33% of the votes. Originally, the song was written for an openly lesbian singer Linda Perry.
Christina Aguilera said: "I am delighted to have won this award, my gay fans are important to me and continues the very special relationship I have with them."

Number 2 - Boyzone "Better" (25%)

Number 3 - Lady Gaga "Born This Way" (17%)

Number 4 - "Standing In The Way of Control" GOSSIP (16%)

Number 5 - Katy Perry "Firework" (9%)
