We are still waiting to be able to follow the adventures of Frankie, Cat, Tess and Sam in Lip Service and even if currently there is no date, the BBC on the Twitter account of the show wrote:
"We will be announcing a date for #LipService2 as soon as we have one! I promise you'll hear it here first. It's soon. Only weeks away."
We already know the series 2 will introduce some new faces.
"I'm delighted that this second series has given me a chance to develop more compelling stories for our characters as well as mixing things up with some new and intriguing faces," Writer Harriet Braun says.
According to an official statement of the BBC, Anna Skellern will play the straight talking Australian doctor, Lexy, who's turning heads and attracting attention. As her professional life finally takes off Tess is trying to concentrate on her career but the distraction of romance may prove too much.
Cat remains torn between her love for Frankie and her commitment to charismatic cop Sam. However, with Lexy now entering the fray, it's clear that life is going to get a lot more complicated for all of them.
Neve McIntosh, Sinead Keenan and Alana Hood will join the seductive and compelling tale of modern twenty-something lesbians finding their way in life.
Adam Sinclair will also play a irreverent, gay doctor, Declan Love.
Let's be patient a little bit more...
