Netflix has just canceled the series "Sense8" after only two seasons

This is the consternation among fans of "Sense8" since Netflix just announced the cancellation of the series after only two seasons and a special holiday episode.

In fact it is not a surprise since already after the broadcast of season 1, it was not sure that there was a season 2. Netflix had waited several months before deciding on the renewal of the series for a new season.

Due to its originality and above all the fact that the story takes place in several cities and countries, it is a series that is very expensive to develop and this is one of the main reasons for which it has been cancelled.

But it's a shame, I think it would have deserved a third season at least.

Of course this cancellation is a disaster for LGBTQ visibility. "Sense8" was created and was directed by an openly transgender woman, Lana Wachowski. The openly trans actress, Jaimie Clayton, was part of the cast and the story featured not only a couple of queer women but also a couple of gay men. Not to mention the notion "love is love" staged through the series.

I hope Netflix will soon launch a new series with LGBTQ characters .... We really need it.
