Do you remember this lesbian who so-called had been attacked by three men masked in Nebraska (see our article: Hate Crime Against A Lesbian In Nebraska)? It is definitively an aggression of psychologists she will need because the police says she invented her aggression even if this one continues to say the aggression happened.
Associated Press reports that Charlie Rogers had written on her Facebook: "So maybe I am too idealistic, but I believe way deep inside me that we can make things better for everyone. I will be a catalyst. I will do what it takes. I will. Watch me."
Thanks to the DNA and to the four interviews full of contradictions, the police have thus concluded she made false claims to police.
"A great deal of time and resources were spent investigating Charlie Rogers’ claims in hopes of identifying and arresting the three suspects in this case," Lincoln Police said in a statement. "As the investigation progressed and additional interviews were completed, the department received results from forensic analysts and experts making it apparent that the physical evidence conflicted with Charlie Rogers’ version of events."
She told to be beaten in her room and on her bed but there were any traces.
"There was no apparent blood on the bedspread; even though Ms. Rogers reported she was rolled on to her stomach after she had been cut on her arms, abdomen, chest and front legs while being held down."
Moreover, the men are supposed to have beaten her so where are the bruises?
The police also discovered that a few days before, she had bought all the necessary things to cut herself to ribbons and to be fastened (gloves, zip ties, blades and a red utility knife). She told the police she shops at that store according to NBC News.
As for the graffiti, it would seem that they come and go in Roger's memory. One day, she saw them and one day she didn't.
It is unfortunately not the first time that simulations of hate crimes happened but there are real victims who are attacked and sometimes killed, so just take two seconds and think of them. To pretext to want to change the things, to publicity show hate crimes by simulating attacks, is just taking the piss out of all the LGBTQ community.
