Maryland House Passed Marriage Equality

Written by

Maryland is about to become the 8th state to legalize the gay marriage, the House voted for the bill.

Whereas one is delighted that the gay marriage law passed in Washington with the signature of the law by the Governor Chris Gregoire at the beginning of the week, here another victory. The House of Maryland passed the law to legalize gay marriage by a vote of 72-67.

Will the Governor O' Malley sign this law? Of course he will sign it, he is one of its sponsors.

Maryland will thus become the 8th state to legalize the marriage for gays and lesbians.
