Republican Paul Singer Gives $250.000 To Maryland Marriage Equality

As I had recently wrote, Republican party's donators also support campaigns for marriage equality and today, I learned that one of them, Paul Singer, had just given $250.000 for the Maryland marriage equality campaign.

That is added to the $250.000 donated by New York mayor Michael Bloomberg and to the amount given by Human Rights Campaign.

According to The Washington Post, advocates for marriage equality would have succeeded in collecting $3.3 million whereas its opponents would have only $838.621.

One thus is near to the goal which is to collect $5 to $7 million to win the battle.
