Exhibition: 'Walls and Rights 2 - The Disturbed /Disturbing Woman Body' In Paris From May 8 To May 18

Walls and rights 2

After a first edition in 2012 which aimed at promoting the equal rights for all the women whereas the presidential elections were going to take place, this year, and whereas France legalized the equal marriage and the adoption but refuses to give the right to insemination, the exhibition “Walls and Rights 2” is of return in Paris from May 8th to May 18th.

This year, the exhibition called "Walls and Rights 2 - le corps dérangé / dérageant de la femme" (“Walls and Rights 2 - the disturbed /disturbing woman body”) is centered on women body, as the title indicates it, to assert at the same time women's rights to have recourse to insemination, to mention the right to contraception, following the issue with the pill, but to also affirm that transgenders should have rights too while bringing all the artists out (they are more than 50 to have taken part in the exhibition this year).

A percentage of the sales will be donated to associations which militate for the causes defended by the exhibition.

"Walls and Rights 2", organized by Sara Chelou, Valérie Maho and Mikaël Zenouda, is in a squat of the Onyx, 6 rue Jean Jaures in Bagnolet (93), and is open the Wednesdays and Fridays from 5:00PM to 8:00PM and the Saturdays and Sundays from 2:00PM to 8:00PM (not open for people under 18).
