"Stop Kiss" is a play that tells the very violent assault of a young woman, Sara, following a first kiss with her girlfriend, Callie, while they were walking in West Village, New York. Interpreted by Sharon Leal (FOX's Boston Public) and Angela Lin, the play explores relationships, human emotion and compassion.

"Stop Kiss" written by Diana Son, was originally produced Off-Broadway at The Public Theater with actresses Sandra Oh and Jessica Hecht. It then received very good reviews and was even rewarded with a GLAAD Media Award for Best New York Production.

This new adaptation directed by Seema Sueko is playing right now at the Pasadena Playhouse until November 30, 2014.

"Stop Kiss is a play that succeeds on the talent of the actors -- their ability to capture the nuance and comedy of a growing attraction, the complexity of the aftermath of a trauma, and the joy of discovering one's voice. We have, in this cast, deeply talented actors who have what it takes to bounce Diane Son's text through the roof. I'm honored to work with them," Sueka said in a press release.
