Ten years ago, the aggressor was arrested for attacking participants in the Gay Pride. So just released from prison, he immediately reoffended by attacking the LGBT community of Jerusalem who marched peacefully in the center of the city again.
The police luckily overpowered the individual rather quickly preventing him from committing more important carnage.
«I saw an ultra-Orthodox man stabbing everyone in his way,» Shai Aviyor, a witness, told Channel 2. «We heard people screaming, everyone ran for cover, and there were bloodied people on the ground.»
Far-right activists objecting to the Gay Pride promised they would not allow the event to «unfold quietly». Nevertheless, it seems that this attack was orchestrated by this unique man.
The attack was condemned by Israeli politicians.
