The Presbyterian Church of South Africa declared not guilty two pastors who had blessed and celebrated several civil unions.

After being accused of misconduct by one of their colleagues, Martin Young and Hansie Wolmarans, two ministers of the Presbyterian church, found themselves sued in the court of this church. But their case was finally good news since the court has made a positive decision and in favor of same-sex unions.

The Presbyterian Church in South Africa is quite divided on the issue of equal marriage, even if it is legal in the country. Officially, the church is against the celebration of marriages between same sex people. You understand better why this decision of the South Africa church court is important, it could revive the discussion on the subject and who knows?
