Banda Aceh In Indonesia Could Criminalize Homosexuality

Written by

The laws concerning homosexuals could harden in the province nammed Banda Aceh in Indonesia.

The deputy governor, Illiza Sa’aduddin Djama, and the Shariah Police of the area think the current laws are not hard enough and would like to be able to condemn same-sex couples at their own convenience.

Djama would like to eradicate homosexuality that he regards as "a social disease".

The Aceh Legislative Council has soon to discuss on the vote of a law criminalizing homosexuality.
