The debate is intensifying in Australia on equal marriage and Canberra airport has just shown its support by displaying rainbow lights accompanied by the message «#WeCanDoThis».

«We hope that the rainbow image across the gateway to Australia’s national capital will have similar impact to lighting up the White House after the historic US Supreme Court ruling determining marriage equality in the US in June this year,» managing director of Canberra Airport Stephen Byron said.

The other day, thousands of Australians went marching through the streets to demand the approval of the equal marriage bill. Important companies like Citibank, Target, Kmart and McKinsey have also joined the battle by writing letters that will be sent to members of parliament and senators as confirmed Australian Marriage Equality organization.
