Gamania Is The First Company To Recognize Marriage Equality In Taiwan

Written by

The Taiwanese company Gamania, which designs video games, recognizes same-sex marriages and offers to its same-sex employees the same marital leave that it offers to heterosexual married couples.

Same-sex employees may, upon presentation of proof of their marriage, enjoy eight days of paid marital leave.

Gamania said it made this decision after hearing about the support of big companies like Apple, Facebook, ... to the equal marriage in the United States.

Gamania thus becomes the first company to recognize marriage equality in Taiwan.
