malaysia how to spot a gay

In the Malaysian newspaper Sinar Harian, the article entitled “how to spot a gay” learn you how to recognize LGBT people with a list of "qualities."

Lesbian women:

  • love hugging each other
  • holding hands
  • belittling men

Gay men:

  • love bears
  • wear branded clothing
  • are going to the gym – not for the purpose of exercise but to pull other men
  • their eyes light up when they see handsome men

Also the article warns of a "rise" of homosexuality in the country that must be stopped, hence the creation of this list criticized by LGBT activists. In a video, Arwind Kumar calls on the government to fight against people who are dangerous to others and to stop putting the lives of innocent people in danger.

“There are much more important issues in this country which need to be addressed,” he said. “If you really want to educate society then explain to them the traits of a pedophile, a molester, a murderer, a kidnapper, people who actually endanger the lives of others. How the hell does a gay person endanger your life?”

“I know a lot of priests, I know a lot of ustads [Islamic scholars], I know a lot of really religious people who love keeping beards. Are you trying to say they are gay? That’s how stupid this is,” he added.

Homosexuality is illegal in Malaysia sentenced to 20 years in prison.

The publication of this article is one more proof of the anti-LGBT hunt done across Malaysia.
