The Israeli government could officially recognize same-sex couples with children as parents.

Indeed, the bill which will be introduced will allow the recognition of LGBT parents and therefore will provide guaranteed income benefits.

According to Haaretz, the bill stipulates that immediate exemption from employment testing will be granted to one of two same-sex parents, and the benefits can be transferred to the account of women and not men, as in the existing law.

Social Affairs Minister Haim Katz and the openly gay MP Amir Ohana will also significantly increase the budget allocated to the psychological and social services to the community.

These services enable to accompany people psychological in difficulty who may be tempted by suicide or who have all sorts of problems.
