For the lovers of LGBT literature, author Margot McCuaigMargot McCuaig organized a party for the launch of the second edition of her debut book «The Birds That Never Flew» with her publisher ThunderPoint Publishing and hosted by author Sara Sheridan.

The Birds That Never Flew

«The Birds That Never Flew» tells the story of two women who will do everything to rebuild their shattered lives after suffering atrocities.

At once dark, very dark, filled with violence, but also very moving, «The Birds That Never Flew» is a fascinating book. It was notably listed for the Polari First Book Prize 2014 which rewards the first book by a UK author which explores the LGBT experience and we actually plan to publish a review of it soon.

Seonaid Francis, director of ThunderPoint PublishingThunderPoint Publishing, said «Margot McCuaig has crafted a daring, challenging and moving novel that has rightly drawn critical praise across the UK. The Birds That Never Flew will move you to tears and have you laugh out loud in turn, and this 2nd Edition is well deserved recognition for a talented writer.»

The launch event organized for its second edition will take place on May 7 at 7PM at Waterstones, Argyle Street, Glasgow. Admission is free so don't hesitate!
