Facebook LGBT users were targeted by adverts promoting "ex-gay therapies"

Facebook is again in turmoil after targeting LGBT users with ads promoting "ex-gay" treatments.

An investigation conducted by the Telegraph reveals LGBT people have been targeted by advertisements promoting "sexual purity" and "conversion therapy" on Facebook.

These users were deceived because these ads were called Love Is Love or were illustrated by a rainbow flag.

Some users said they clicked on “Why am I seeing this ad?” to understand. They found out that these ads were offered to them because Facebook noticed they were interested in “gender issues.”

In response to this new controversy, Facebook removed the posts after the investigation revealed a “flaw” with the “micro-targeting algorithm.”

Who will be the next victims of Facebook?
