India Launches 'Qradio', The First LGBTQ Radio Station

Written by

A first has took place in Bangalore in India where an online LGBT radio was launched!

The objective of Qradio is to "create awareness and acceptance about alternate sexualities."

This radio is available online on in English and in Hindi (other Indian languages will be added soon).

"This is a platform that brings together all the LGBT groups together, as well as a space that would create awareness and acceptance about alternate sexuality, and sensitise non-LGBT people to it and bridge the gap between various sexualities," Anil Srivatsa, CEO and cofounder of, told DNA India.

On Qradio, there will be of course music but also LGBT people will come and share their story and discussions on subjects in keeping with the LGBTQ community will be also suggested.

Lezbelib is the online magazine that helps LGBTQ+ women to stay updated with entertaining blogs and breaking news about LGBT rights.
