Angela Eagle Could Consider Taking The Head Of The British Labor Party

Written by

The openly lesbian member of the Parliament Angela Eagle could take the leadership of the British Labor Party.

Following the mediocre results of the Labor Party in the last election, the party leader Ed Miliband resigned, so the party needs a successor and that could be Angela Eagle, currently MP for Wallasey.

She was able to garner the support of the people and also of her fellow politicians. Eagle has become the first openly lesbian member of the British parliament in 1997 and has since worked for LGBT equality rights.
