In the UK, all LGBT people are invited to take part in a major survey to tell the government about the problems they may encounter in their everyday lives.

"It’s encouraging to already see so many responses to the LGBT survey," openly gay Minister for Equalities Nick Gibb said.

"We’ve seen so much progress over the past 50 years and it’s important that we continue to drive LGBT equality.

"I would encourage those who haven’t yet responded to the survey to have their say on the issues affecting them. All the responses will help us to provide a safer, healthier and more equal United Kingdom for LGBT people."

Launched on July 23, already more than 60,000 people responded to the survey so go ahead if you live in the UK! This consultation is open until October 15, 2017. You can access it here: https://www.gov.uk/government/consultations/national-lgbt-survey
