Finland Legalizes Marriage Equality!

Written by

The Finnish Parliament approved the bill legalizing marriage equality.

By a 105-92 vote, members of Parliament have enabled Finland to become the twelfth European country to allow marriage for same-sex couples. Indeed, since 2002, Finland only granted civil unions.

The law also allows adoption by same-sex couples.
