Hungary Passed Discriminatory Constitution

The new constitution of Hungary is a new discrimination for LGBT people and also reduced women's right.

Hungarian Prime Minister, Viktor Orban, leader of the conservative party in majority at the Parliament, set up a new constitution.

Initially, it prohibits marriage between two same-sex people because it from now on specified that marriage must be only between a woman and a man.

Then, it reduces women's right because it says the embryo is a human being at the beginning of the pregnancy which means the right to the abortion could be removed.

Guy Verhofstadt, former Belgian Prime Minister and president of the Liberals in the European Parliament, described this new constitution like a "Trojan horse of a more authoritative political system founded on the perpetuation of the power of only one party".
