Written by

Aodhán Ó Ríordáin

Irish Minister for Equality Aodhán Ó Ríordáin wants the repeal a law that allows religious organizations, including schools and hospitals, to discriminate against LGBT people in the field of employment.

The Minister wants to actually change the Employment Equality Act in order to add an amendment prohibiting discrimination against LGBT people as at present, religious-run workplaces can discriminate them to maintain their ethos.
