The Committee For Human Rights Of The Parliament Of Kyrgyzstan Approved The "Gay Propaganda" Law

Written by

We had already discussed the "gay propaganda" bill in Kyrgyzstan. Unfortunately, the Committee for Human Rights of the country's parliament approved a bill that criminalizes the dissemination of information "to the formation of positive attitudes towards non-traditional sex attitudes."

This bill, if passed, sentence of fines up to $115 (more than half of the average monthly salary in Kyrgyzstan, as Buzzfeed reports) or sentence of one year imprisonment.
