Lithuanian LBT Women To Deputies : "Let's Speak"

Written by

Lesbians, bisexuals women and MTF act in Lithuania. They sent postcards to all the deputies with for slogan "Let's speak."

According to Lithuania Gay League, the LBT women are severely under-represented.

As a result, a group of volunteers decided to manually write postcards to the deputies to develop a dialog and to bring more visibility to LBT women.

Just like Russia, Lithuania could punish any attempts "to promote" homosexuality by fines. In 2006, the law was changed and considers from now on that "propaganda of homosexuality and bisexuality" has a damaging effect on minors and you will never see any informations about homosexuality and bisexuality in schools and other places where youth can be.
