No Amendment On Insemination Will Be Added To French Adoption Law

Written by

We know that the right to insemination for lesbian couples will not be included in the adoption law, which will be voted at the end of January, and there won't be either an amendment, but the right to insemination will now be included in a bill on the family which will be introduced in March.

Currently of course, LGBT associations said to be disappointed because this amendment in the family law is only an announcement.

During a press conference, Bruno Le Roux, who wanted an amendment in the law allowing the adoption, said the socialist deputies had received the commitment of Prime Minister Jean-Marc Ayrault whom insemination would be adopted in 2013 and not just for married couples.
