After a first attack of the opponents to marriage equality in France, a second attack took place, organized by Christine Boutin and her association Alliance Vita, but it is not that second attempt which we will remember but the kiss of two young women.
Until now, Northern Ireland allowed adoption only by married couples and single people, straight or gay. Impossible thus for a gay and lesbian couple to adopt a child. A judge has just ruled that the law on adoption was disciminatory and violated European laws.
The law allowing marriage equality and adoption in France will not be submitted to the Assembly in October as planned but before the end of January 2013.
British Prime Minister David Cameron does not have any intention not passing marriage equality and this in spite of the Tory's opposition.
