Poll Shows People In UK Would Like The Church Of England Conducts Same-Sex Marriages

Written by

In England and Wales, a new poll shows that a majority of people would like that the Church of England can conduct marriages for same-sex couples.

This poll, by ComRes for The Independent, shows thus that the population is not of the same opinion that the government which, facing a strong opposition of the Church of England's leaders who, I point it out, are very opposed to marriage equality, wished to set up an exception in the law so that the Church of England could be not forced to conduct marriages for same-sex couples.

Apparently, 62% of people are opposed to this exception against 31% who are favorable to it.
