Radical Party Supports Gay Marriage And Adoption

Written by

A new political party was launched in France. The Radical Party, it is its name, decided to be in favor of gay marriage and adoption for gay and lesbian couples.

Among the proposals of this new party there is in particular "the equality in favor of homosexual couples".

First of all, Yves Jégo, vice-president of the Radical Party, said in an interview with Le Parisien: "The Radical party is very attached to secularity and considers morals rules of the religious wedding should not be essential on the civil wedding. The pacs (domestic partnership) was a first stage, it is necessary today to take into account the question of the marriage for gay and lesbian couples."

Then he added about the adoption that "a feedback of experience in many countries allowing it shows children don't live less better in a gay couple than in a mixed couple."
