Scotland's Police Is More Gay Friendly

Written by

The police of San Francisco would be less gay-friendly than the one of Scotland.

Lisa Buchanan, Northern Constabulary advisor, spent 4.5 months with the department of police of San Francisco and said in an interview for E-magazine that the municipal police of Scotland seemed more gay-friendly:

“In terms of investigating homophobic hate incidents their approach is comparable to ours, yet there are much fewer victims coming forward. I think this is a reflection of the strategic approach to community engagement. In Scotland, and in the north, I think we enjoy much better community relations than they do in San Francisco.”

We could think the opposite as San Francisco is conciderated as an openly gay city.
