Delhi Celebrated Gay Pride

Written by

Approximately 2.000 people celebrated the gay pride in Delhi, the capital of India.

Last year, homosexuality became legal in India that's why this year the gay pride was a little different.

According to the organizers, gay people demonstrated to show "that they have a place in the society, and that the parade was a celebration of being different."

"There has been a certain sort of change but it has not been a revolution," one marcher told the BBC. "It has been decriminalised but society has not completely changed along with it."
