EDEN Announces 2013 Venues

Written by  EDEN

EDEN Pride Weekend San Francisco will be a smashing weekend filled with up to 12 events at three venues and one secret location for lesbian, bisexual and transgender individuals and their friends June 27 - 30, 2013.

EDEN Pride Events is gearing up for EDEN's weekend during San Francisco Pride by bringing events back to familiar venues and adding new dance clubs.

"Each year EDEN brings together the hottest venues in the city for our attendees. This year is no different," said Christine De La Rosa, founder and producer of EDEN Pride Events. "We are bringing back the Factory and the Supperclub from previous years while adding to the mix the Mezzanine."

"Historically our Saturday EDEN Signature Party has been held in the Supperclub, but the last two years we sold out the Supperclub and had to turn away upwards of 200 party goers that wanted to join in the fun," she continued. "This year we move our Thursday night Fashion event to the Supperclub and have moved the Saturday Signature Party to the Mezzanine, which can hold close to 1,500 attendees."

"We are excited about this change and addition to our lineup." said De La Rosa. "We look forward to a spectacular year!"

This year is extra special with 100 percent of the proceeds from EDEN events being donated to the EDEN LGBTQ Youth Foundation, a new 501(c)(3) created by EDEN Pride Events to support the future leaders of the San Francisco Bay Area's LGBT leaders.

EDEN will kick-off the weekend with its Kick-Off Party, Second Annual Fashion Show and After-Party on Thursday night, 9 p.m. - 2 a.m., at the Supperclub San Francisco (657 Harrison St.).

"We are ecstatic," said Michael Anthony, nightclub manager and co-owner, Supperclub in San Francisco, about EDEN's third year at the club. "We are actually really excited that we are doing the event on Thursday night.

The Supperclub will be serving dinner for EDEN guests prior to the party and fashion show and throughout Pride Weekend starting at 7:30 - 10:30 p.m nightly. To make reservations, call 415-348-0900.

The party will continue on Friday night, 9 p.m. - 3 a.m., for the EDEN Block Party for its second time at The Factory (525 Harrison St.). The girls and their friends will be able to get down on three different dance floors and groove to a variety of sounds.

"We are happy they are coming back. They had a great event last year," said Albert Lee, manager of The Factory.

New this year, EDEN's Signature Party will celebrate Saturday night, 9 p.m. - 3 a.m., at Mezzanine (444 Jessie St.) featuring two dance floors.

"Mezzanine is proud to host Eden Pride for the first time," said Samantha Davis, assistant talent buyer of Mezzanine. "We are excited to be the new home of one of SF Pride's best parties during a weekend that means so much to our city."

EDEN's After-Pride Party is going to be held at a secret location that will be announced May 1.

All of EDEN's parties are easily accessible from the Garden of EDEN at Parc 55 (55 Cyril Magnin St.). This is the fourth consecutive year Parc 55 has been selected as the host hotel. This gorgeously appointed hotel is centrally located with a plethora of transportation options right at guests figure tips to explore everything the City by the Bay has to offer. It also happens to be right along the San Francisco Pride Parade route in the heart of Union Square, San Francisco's shopping district. So, after the late nights with EDEN, simply crawl out of bed and head downstairs to find the best spot on the route.

Last year Parc 55 sold out of EDEN's special $179 rate. Make your reservation today simply by calling 800-595-0507 or online at and giving them the code: EDEN Pride Weekend.
