No Gay Pride In Moscow

Written by  E-Li

In Russia, the Gay Pride of Moscow who was supposed to take place on May 28th was also banned and the worst, for the same reasons who condamned Russia in the European Court of Human Rights.

Russia was condemned recently for nonrespect of the human rights by European Court.

It does not matter for the mayor of Moscow who prohibited the Gay Pride again.

"We will ask to president Dmitri Medvedev the authorization to organize the Gay Pride beside the Kremlin, a sector which depends only of his jurisdiction", said Nikolaï Alekseev, a gay rights militant.

Ban or not, the militants will meet as each year.
