This British startup that has been launched a few weeks ago called "Gender Free Word" wanted to provide gender neutral clothing and to allow those who wish to wear more masculine clothing to find clothes that match the shape of their bodies.

Gender Free World is still in its infancy. It provides some clothing lines, but plans to develop in a few months with other lines and with gender-neutral children's toys, and probably maybe other products in the future.

In any case, this brand is gaining more and more recognition and visibility.

Supported by celebrities such as out comedian Zoe Lyons, award-winning gender fluid campaigner and columnist Jack Monroe, or award-winning radio host Kathy Caton of RadioReverb’s LGBT show ‘OUT IN Brighton’, Gender Free World has a bright future ahead of it.

"At last, someone who understands the market which doesn’t want to squeeze itself into a gender specific style. I can now stop having to look in both sections to find something I like. It will be a shirt for life!" explained Lyons.

"I know shopping outside of the gender binary can be a frickin' nightmare so when I find something this good [GFW’s shirt] I wanna tell you," added Monroe.

Finally, note that Gender Free World has been selected to be part of the "Label Fashion Show" which is a new event aiming to bring marginalised identities into the fashion industry spotlight with a body positive fashion show with trans* models.

"Most fashion is designed to be exclusive but we wanted our show to be inclusive and Gender Free World absolutely represented what we wanted to talk about and the message of our show. All of our models love their stuff, we have a number of gender fluid and new-gender models in our show and they have said how they feel so much more comfortable in GFW’s designs than any other brand," said Jo Boon, Founder and CEO of Label Fashion Show.
