LezGossip: Singer Charice Came Out As Lesbian And Introduced Her Girlfriend

For a few weeks, rumours on the sexuality of the Filipino singer Charice Pempengco have circulated. Since her change of look, people want to know if she is lesbian or transgender. I have finally the answer to this questions: she is lesbian!

Charice began her career whereas she was only a child. In 2007, thanks to her videos on YouTube, she attracted Ellen DeGeneres' attention and was invited to appear on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. Afterwards, she was invited on other TV shows and even played in the series Glee.

When she changed her look, passing from a female style to a more male style, people started to have doubts about her sexuality and Charice did not take a long time to reveal her homosexuality and to introduce her very pretty girlfriend Alyssa Quijano.

"Now I feel free," Charice said. "I can go out of the house without fear and certain that I’m not stepping on anybody’s toe."

Despite she had said in interviews she will support her daughter's identity, it would seem that Charice's mother, Raquel, and her mother (Charice's grandmother) did not accept the true identity of the singer. Charice even said that she has to move.

Yet, at the same time as her daughter, Raquel revealed to be lesbian too.

"I spoke out because I couldn't take the accusations that I couldn't accept my daughter," Raquel said to Filipino news program, Bandila. "If there's one person who knows what it's like, it's me. But as you can see, I kept it hidden for so many years, because I didn't want to destroy her."

Charice passed a big step in her life and I wish her lots of happiness.
