Georgia Paterson is back with her new single “Smug And Married”!

Written by

After a short break, out singer and musician Georgia Paterson is back with a new single she released on Valentine’s Day. As usual, she celebrates LGBTQ+ people through her music.

Her new track “Smug And Married” is an anti-love anthem against the sickening rituals of Valentine’s Day.

The song talks about the torment of falling for a straight married woman with all that entails and is cleverly conveyed with bluesy piano, jazz trumpets, and self-assuring sarcasm.

Georgia Paterson draws musical inspiration from folk artists like Simon and Garfunkel, Bob Dylan, Melissa Ferrick, Brandi Carlile, and the Indigo Girls.

Her music is overflowing with metaphors and poetry that speaks universally whilst simultaneously encapsulating deep personal experiences and sage-like epiphanies.
