The 27-year-old artist, a native of Alabama, has developed her musical culture through stays in cities filled with music as Bakersfield, California or Austin, Texas. She has also been able to develop her talent for writing with fairly heavy lyrics reflecting her autobiographical depiction of life changing situations, relationships and observations.
Fitzgerald is rather a folk artist, but for this new album she went a little beyond the folk as we know it and offer us an album she describes as dream-folk/progressive indie-rock.
Throughout the album, we really have this feeling of dream especially provided by her very clear voice contrasted with the heavy lyrics right from the first song called "Earth, Everything". In short, you will enjoy this journey into an unknown world, a little out of time.
