After The NBA, The NCAA Punishes Anti-LGBTQ Laws Of North Carolina

Written by

Following the approval of anti-LGBTQ laws in North Carolina, the best known being HB2, that prevents trans people access to public toilets, the NBA withdrew the organization of the All-Star Game 2017 in Charlotte and we just heard the NCAA has canceled 7 sporting events scheduled to take place in North Carolina.

The NCAA, which includes various university sports including basketball, withdraws the organization of the first and second rounds of the NCAA championships in 2016 and 2017 in North Carolina even though these academic events know a craze in the state.

Economically, the note begins to be salty, between concerts, sporting event cancellations and corporate facility in the area.

Thank you to the NCAA and the NBA for speaking out in favor of equality.
