No Pride House In London During The Olympic Games

Unfortunately, the Pride House, which was announced as one of the largest event of 2012, will not take place during the Olympic Games of London due to a lack of financing.

Pride House was to be organized during the Olympic Games with meetings of athletes, officials and also LGBT tourists proposing exhibitions, debates and LGBT sports and cultural events.

Even if the city of London supported the project, it was not the case of the official Olympic device.

The event will not take place because, according to an e-mail of one of the organizers, it would have suffered from "an absence of sponsorship."
