The IOC has announced that a clause would be added to the contract between the committee and the host cities of the Olympic Games after the organization of the Winter Games in Sochi, a city of the very anti-LGBT Russia.
Here's what the clause now states:
"Whereas the City and the National Olympic Committee recognize and accept the importance of the Games and the value of the Olympic image and agree to conduct all activities in a manner that promotes and enhances the fundamental principles and Olympism's values, particularly the prohibition of any form of discrimination with regard to a country or a person based on race, religion, politics, gender or other, as well as the development of the Olympic movement."
Automatically, one wonders where is the discrimination based on sexual orientation announced by the committee.
The IOC said that we are included in the word "other."
You'll understand that the IOC has no intention to fight against discrimination against same-sex people and more, it takes us for idiots.
