Video: President Obama Opened The Gay Games In Cleveland

Saturday was the launch of the Gay Games in Cleveland and President Barack Obama participated in the kick-off of these games with a video message during the opening ceremony.

Obama welcomed the world's athletes, 8,000 in all, and all accompanying persons. He recalled that the United States has done and continues to make progress on equality for the LGBT community and he said the country would continue to support LGBT people in countries where sexual orientation and gender identity are seen as a crime.
