The governor of North Carolina, Pat McCrory, issued a non-discrimination executive order in hiring. This is great! Except that, in this order, there is no question of the protection of individuals against discrimination based on sexual orientation.

When I announced to you the launching of a challenge in South Dakota, I had told you that there was a strong chance so that a challenge in North Dakota is also launched. Well, that was confirmed!

The battle is launched in North Carolina where American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) envisaged a legal effort to repeal the marriage equality ban approved in 2012.

Last week, we were glad to learn that, considering the bill prohibiting same-sex marriage was not going to go to the 2014 ballot in Indiana, same-sex couples had then gone on the offensive and had launched a challenge to try to legalize the equal marriage. A few days later, four other challenges were launched in Indiana!

ACLU, the American Civil Liberties Union, which launched a challenge against the marriage equality ban in Wisconsin with four gay and lesbian couples, asked a federal judge to temporarily block this marriage ban, the time that the lawsuit starts.

Last year, we had spoken about Diane and Taeko who had wanted to stay in a Bed & Breakfast in Honolulu, Hawaii. Its owner had then refused to host them saying she felt uncomfortable to have lesbians in her house.
