Back Lot Bash, the Midwest’s most-attended women’s festival taking place every Pride, has announced its 2017 entertainment lineup.

The headliners are American electro singer Dev, DJ duo Sea & Gunn (with Daniela Sea from The L Word), Kiyomi Valentine, Whitney Mixter, JD Samson, Catfight, and youtube influencers Bria and Chrissy. The rest of the slate is equally eye-popping with these trendy tastemakers on the bill: DJ Goodboy, Tori WhoDat, DJ All the Way Kay, Fembot, and DJ Zel.

One of the largest family owned jewelry chains in the country, Rogers & Hollands, is expanding its demographic reach and marketing to include the LGBT community by adding a new wedding jewelry collection created to celebrate marriage and equality.  The premier jewelry chain, which operates several stores throughout the Chicagoland area and throughout the Midwest, has just announced the addition of Rony Tennenbaum’s Jewelry collection to its bridal cases in both its Woodfield Mall location in Schaumburg, and in downtown Chicago’s Water Tower Place stores.

Harvard Could Add LGBT Option In Admissions

Harvard University announced Wednesday that it may add language to its admission application that would allow prospective students to identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender, according to The Harvard Crimson.

From his facebook page, the Representative of State, Greg Harris, announced that “Governor Pat Quinn will sign the Civil Union Law on Monday, January 31. The signing ceremony will be in the afternoon in the Chicago Loop, and open to the public. Details will be announced early next week."
