A few days ago, the Kansas' Senate has killed a law which would have allowed companies to discriminate LGBT people based on their religion. Yesterday, the Senate Judiciary Committee discussed on a possible religious exemption again before to postpone it.
Since now several weeks we hear of bills aiming at legalizing discriminations against LGBT people. Some of these laws, if approved, would even prevent any legal action and would thus block possible challenges against discriminatory laws like same-sex marriage bans.
Until a few days ago, there were four states, Idaho, Kansas, Arizona and Tennessee, to have introduced bills like that. From now on, one breathes a little bit better in Kansas where the bill was killed, but for how long?
Another leader of a church called for a mass murder of LGBT people.
