Screenwriter and playwright Marja Lewis Ryan will oversee the reboot of The L Word. Marja will be the showrunner and executive producer. The series' creator, Ilene Chaiken, and three actresses of the original cast, Jennifer Beals (Bette), Katherine Moennig (Shane) and Leisha Hailey (Alice) will also produce the reboot.
